Riviera del Conero
Only thirty minutes by car North of Civitanova, a long calcarious coastline stretches from Ancona’s great Porto Dorico to the cliff between Sirolo and Numana, watched over by Conero Mountain: that’s the Riviera del Conero, the spot where mountain and sea merge to give us spectacular beaches and views.
Parco del Conero, located on Monte Conero, is an invaluable national park that manages to conserve wildlife despite being a hotspot that attracts tourists from all over the world. The same goes for the pristine shores at the bottom of Monte Conero. Among the most notorious there are Spiaggia Urbani and it’s namesake cave, Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle with it’s two cliffs rising from the waves and Spiaggia del Frate and it’s bay.
Several fun outdoor activities such as scuba diving, sailing, snorkeling and hiking on the mountain will turn your stay into an unforgettable experience. Don’t forget to visit Sirolo and Numana, former fisherman villages where you can find restaurants, shops and clubs among colorful, picturesque houses. The best way to end your day on Riviera del Conero.
